About the Author

Kyle Pratt is the bestselling author of three books. The latest, Through Many Fires, is a post-apocalyptic thriller released in paperback, ebook and audiobook format in 2013.

Titan Encounter, a science fiction space adventure, was released in 2013 and is also available in paperback, ebook and audio book format.

Kyle grew up in the mountains of Colorado and went to Mesa State College in Grand Junction. When money for college ran low he enlisted in the United States Navy. "I thought I would do four years and then use my veteran's benefits to go back to college." he said of the time. It didn't work out that way.

His first assignment was with a U.S. Navy unit at the Royal Air Force base in Edzell, Scotland. Two years later while on leave in Israel he met Lorraine from Plymouth, Devon, England. They married the next year. Together they spent the remainder of his twenty year naval career traveling across the United States from Virginia to Hawaii and on to Guam, Japan and beyond.
Today, Lorraine and Kyle live on a small farm in Western Washington State.
